OUR STORY
Minds Over Matter Ayrshire was set up in 2019 by 20-year-old resident Caitlyn Nutt. The service was inspired by Caitlyns own experiences with anxiety and depression, and launched in response to the strain the NHS finds itself under reaching everyone who needs help.
Minds over Matter hold a drop in event at Venturayr, New Road from 7pm-9pm on alternate Wednesday/Tuesdays every week.
Anyone affected by poor mental health to come along and seek support. As well as an open door and welcoming cuppa, the group also regualrly co-ordinates with local busiesses to explore new ways to support your mental health - from exercise, complementary therapies and even the odd cuddle from a furry friend!
-
Open Door Policy
Minds Over Matter is open to all, regardless of circumstance. There's no requirement to attend every week or share anything you don't want to.
-
End The Stigma
